Give back to your community at the local community blood drive at the Morris Plains Community Center from 8AM to 2PM on Saturday March 4th.
From March 3rd through March 12th at the Chatham Community Players, you can enjoy an evening at the theatre with “The Flick” by Annie Baker.
On Saturday, March 4th, gardeners will rejoice to learn that the 13th Annual Community Garden Conference will be in full swing from 9AM to 2PM at The Frelinghuysen Arboretum in Morristown. Options are $60 to attend with no lunch, or $75 with lunch included.
Get ready for the summer season by getting your official boat license! On Sunday, March 5th at the Woodbrige Community Center in Woodbriudge starting at 10:30AM, head over for the official boat safety exam. Registration required.
On March 10th at the Ritz Theatre and Performing Arts Center in Elizabeth, grab a ticket for Chimbala performing live from 7PM to 11PM!
On March 11th in downtown Union starting at Morris and Stuyvesant avenues, enjoy the fun of the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade starting at 12PM. There will be a parade and following will be fun activities and events for families including an all-ages kids zone!
On March 11th at 8PM, the Westfield Community Players are sharing their theatrical talents in “12 Angry Jurors”, a drama.
On March 11th from 11:30AM to 5PM at the Newark Museum of Art in Newark, join the museum and local residents for a look at the newly installed Harriet Tubman monument and the reopening of “Seeing America” “18th century” and “19th century galleries” for the Community Day HerStory/Our Story event!
On March 12th in Newark at the NJPAC, the incredible and artistic modern dance troupe “Pilobolus” will be heading into town! Patrons of all ages will be impressed and delighted by the inventive choreography and beautiful creative visions for its 50th anniversary!
On March 13th from 3:30PM to 4PM at the Linden Free Public Library in Linden, there will be a free kids karate class!
On Thursday, March 16th at Community Access Unlimited of Elizabeth, join in the celebrations and be inspired at this special event featuring local leaders and speakers for the “Celebrating Women in Leadership: Opening Doors for Success and Equality” event.
On March 19th starting at 12PM, the annual Morris County St. Patrick’s Day Parade will draw a huge crowd to take in the spectacle as presenters and musicians march down South Street in Morristown! It’s always a hit and a very busy event, so arrive with plenty of time to walk from the parking lots, parking decks, and street parking up to South Street to get a good view.
On March 22nd, Irish musicians and bands Gaelic Storm and The High Kings are joining forces for one epic evening of energetic Celtic music starting at 7:30 at the Union County Performing Arts Center of Rahway.
On March 26th at Mexology in Elizabeth, head over at 3:30PM for some incredible live percussive music and dance as FLAMENCOflavor fuses latin urban beats with traditional and sensual flamenco choreography!
