Welcome to our NJ Community Calendar for June! It’s festival season and Pride Month in the great Garden State, and you can count on us to find the best events and most family fun on our local community calendar. We’ll also be sharing some of our picks for other amazing summer activities and events to enjoy to kick off the vacation season. Got an event our readers will enjoy? Since we serve most areas of the state and live and work here too, we love to get to know our neighbours, and support local businesses and vendors. The Jersey Shore Greek Festival is coming to town from May 31st through June 2nd in Ocean Township Explore new foods, music, vendors, and live entertainment centering around Greek Culture and tradition!
On June 1st, head over to Merrill Park in Woodbridge for a fantastic day of music, food, and entertainment at Summerfest 2024 from 11AM on, as the first of 100 nights of free summer concerts all Summer long!
On June 1st, the 2nd Annual Pride Fest in the Park in Highlands is taking place in Huddy Park from 12-6PM (with a rain date of 6/11) There will be specialty vendors and creators, delicious food trucks, a beer garden for adults, plenty of live music and entertainment, and both admission and parking are free!
On June 1st in Union is the 2024 Annual Union Pride Festival and flag raising events starting at 1PM.
On June 1st from 12PM to 4PM (Rain Date of June 2nd) is Rutherford’s Annual PrideFEST: The Power of Pride event at Lincoln Park. There will be a community gathering featuring a beer garden for adults, local area food vendors and food trucks, educational vendors, live music and entertainment, prizes and raffles, family friendly activities such as a bouncy castle, face paint, and more!
June 2nd is the everpopular Asbury Park “NJ 32nd Annual Statewide LGBTQ+ Pride Celebration” from 12-7PM, rain or shine! The parade will pass through the center of the city filled with floats, decorated vehicles, dancers, marching bands, local groups and marchers, performers, and more! The rally will begin after the parade along the AP Boardwalk along with a 6 hour outdoor concert and entertainment spectacle! Local food vendors, educational booths, craftsman and brands and artisans, animal adoption organizations, and more will be located at the Pride Festival area (which is family adnd pet friendly!) There will also be rides intthe Family Zone for all to enjoy!
On June 2nd from 11AM to 7PM at Memorial Park in South Bound Brook is “South Bound Brook Food Truck & Music Fest” a special benefit for the South Bound Brook Fire Company.
June 7th, 8th, 9th at Rudyk Park is the annual Perth Amboy Puertorican Festival featuring live music and entertainment and food and festivities!
On Saturday June 8th in Mountain View Park in Middlesex, come on down for Middlesex Borough’s Community Day 2024 from 2PM to 7PM, rain or shine!
On June 8th, the annual Westfield Street Fair and Craft Show will be in town, bringing the finest in farmer’s market vendors, fresh flowers, local artisans and crafsmakers, live entertainment, food trucks, and more.
June 8th is Montclair’s Pride Festival and Parade event down Bloomfield Avenue in Montclair
June 8th is Red Bank’s Pride in the Park event along the Navesink River on West Front Street.
June 15th is the Annual Toms River Pride Parade down Washington Street in Toms River.
June 15th is the Boonton Rainbow Pride event and parade at Grace Lord Park and Downtown in Boonton.
June 22nd is the exciting Morris County Pride Festival on Center Grove Road in Randolph.
June 22nd is Princeton Pride Fest and Parade on Witherspoon Street in Princeton.
June 26th is the Mahwah PRide Celebration taking place on E Ramapo Avenue in Mahwah.
