We live, work, and play here in New Jersey, just the same as our clients, and we love to explore all that our great state has to offer. On Thursday October 5th and 12th, drive on over to downtown Bound Brook on East Main Street for the Classic & Hot Rod Cars Show! Cruise night festivities start at 5PM
On Friday October 6th, head over to Lions Roars’ Third Annual Oktoberfest in Westfield from 4PM to 10PM. There will be beer, music, fun, and games including a “steinholding competition” at 7PM. There will be 5 German beers on tap, giveaways for the Best Dressed attendee, traditional German music, and plenty of pretzels. Get your tickets here.
On Saturday October 7th, head on down for the Plainfield Restaurant Tour from 4PM to 7:30PM. Sponsored by the Plainfield Small Business Improvement District, this food tour will take you through the city’s vibrant culinary scene to experience a menagerie of global cultural dishes! Includes restaurants such as Los Paceros, El Palacio, Los Antiohitos, and Mamajuana. It’s a great chance to try new foods, explore new restaurants, and support local business. Tickets are $25.
On Saturday October 7th, give your tastebuds another treat by stopping by the all-day Chatham Food Truck and Music Festival from 11AM to 7PM at the Colony Pool Club in Chatham. Local food trucks are rolling up into town with some incredible local entertainment and live music. You don’t want to miss this free, family-friendly event this weekend!
On Sunday October 8th, continue to snack your way through the weekend by making your next stop at the Florham Park PBA Food Truck and Music Fest on Campus Drive in Florham Park. This seasonal festival brings live music, local food trucks, family friendly activities and games, wine and beer sampling, and a whole lot of fun. Admission required for all attendees over the age of 5 years old for $6 a ticket.
On Sunday October 8th, head over to Dunellen for the 11th annual family friendly Harvest Fest starting at 11AM. Sponsored by the Dunellen Downtown Management Organization, this promises to fully get you in the fall mood! Attendees are encouraged to bring a decorated pumpkin for judging in the competition. There will be live music, local food, children’s activities, local artisans and crafters at a vendor market, local nonprofits, and of course plenty of entertainment.
Wednesday October 11th from 7PM to 10PM, head over to Tequila N Tacos Mexican Sports Bar in Piscataway for DJ DH’s Karaoke night!
On Sunday October 15th stop at Purses & Proverbs in South Plainfield to enjoy a Water Marbled Silk Scarf class and stretch your artistic skills!
On October 22nd in Linden at Aviation Plaza, head over from 10AM to 4PM for a sunday filled with fun and excitement as one of NJs largest car, truck, and bike show events drives on into town for the Nineth Annual Car, Truck and Bike Show.
On OCtober 23rd at the Cranford Community Center, head over for some Monday Night fun from 6PM to 7PM to enjoy some seasonal Halloween food crafts at the “Kids Can Cook” class.
Wednesday OCtober 25th at SCLSNJ’S North Plainfield Branch, teens can enjoy a special night just for Halloween fun at the Teen Trivia: Halloween special event from 3:30 to 4:30PM
On October 27th at 7:30, Woodbridge Center is proud to host the Vazquez Circus coming to town starting at 7:30PM, advance tickets required.
On October 28th and 29th in Edison at the New Jersey Convention and Expo Center, bring the whole family from 8AM to 5PM and don your superhero finery for the super fun Comic Con for Kids event!
